Ingredients
  

  • For the Cider:
  • 2 cups fresh apple cider (not apple juice)
  • 2 tbsp caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg (optional)
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • For the Topping:
  • Whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
  • Extra caramel sauce, for drizzling
  • Cinnamon stick or apple slice (optional garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Heat the Cider : Pour the apple cider into a small saucepan and place over medium heat. Add caramel sauce, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Stir continuously until the caramel is fully melted and the cider is hot but not boiling (about 5–7 minutes).
  • Add Vanilla Flavoring : Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract for a warm, aromatic finish.
  • Serve the Cider : Pour the caramel apple cider into mugs.
  • Add the Toppings :Top each mug generously with whipped cream. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon if desired. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or a thin apple slice for an elegant touch.
