Ingredients

  • 12 pretzel rods
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white chocolate)
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil (optional, for smoother melting)
  • ½ cup sprinkles (colored, chocolate, or holiday-themed)
  • Optional: crushed nuts, coconut flakes, or mini candies for extra decoration

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare Your Workspace: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Gather sprinkles and any additional toppings in small bowls for easy access.
  • Step 2: Melt the Chocolate: Place chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until chocolate is smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, melt chocolate in a double boiler on the stovetop.
  • Step 3: Dip the Pretzels: Hold a pretzel rod by one end and dip it about 2/3 of the way into the melted chocolate. Allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
  • Step 4: Decorate: Immediately sprinkle toppings over the chocolate before it sets. Use sprinkles, crushed nuts, or other decorative toppings as desired.
  • Step 5: Chill: Place dipped pretzels on the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate for 10–15 minutes, or until chocolate is fully set.
