Ingredients
  

  • For the Shrimp:
  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • For the Vegetables:
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Garnish:
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions
 

  • Season the Shrimp : In a bowl, combine shrimp with olive oil, garlic, Cajun seasoning, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Cook the Vegetables : Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • Cook the Shrimp : In the same skillet, add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
  • Combine u0026 Finish : Return peppers and onions to the skillet. Toss everything together with lemon juice. Cook for another 1–2 minutes to blend flavors.
  • Garnish u0026 Serve : Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
