Ingredients

  • 1 small head of cauliflower (for skull)
  • 2–3 carrots, cut into sticks
  • 1 cucumber, sliced or cut into sticks
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1–2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1–2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup celery sticks
  • 1 cup ranch or hummus dip (for skull bowl)
  • Optional: black olives or cherry tomatoes for eyes

Instructions

  • Prepare Vegetables : Wash all vegetables thoroughly. Cut carrots, cucumbers, and bell peppers into sticks or strips. Break broccoli into small florets.
  • Arrange Skull : Place a small bowl of dip in the center of a large platter. Arrange cauliflower florets around or in the bowl to represent the skull. Add black olive slices or cherry tomatoes for eyes.
  • Form Skeleton Body : Arrange cucumber sticks or celery as the spine. Use carrot sticks or bell pepper strips as arms and legs, extending from the central “skull.”
  • Add Additional Vegetables : Place broccoli florets or cherry tomatoes around the skeleton to add “bones” or fill in gaps for color.
  • Serve : Present immediately as a festive, healthy Halloween appetizer.
