Ingredients

  • For the Punch
  • 4 cups cranberry juice
  • 4 cups pomegranate juice (for deep red color)
  • 2 cups pineapple juice (for sweetness)
  • 2 liters lemon-lime soda (or ginger ale)
  • 1 cup grenadine syrup (for richer red color u0026 sweetness)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries or raspberries
  • Optional (Adult Version)
  • 2–3 cups vodka, rum, or red wine
  • For the Effect
  • 1–2 lbs food-grade dry ice (handle with care)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Mix the Base: In a large punch bowl, combine cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, pineapple juice, and grenadine syrup. Stir well to blend.
  • Step 2: Add Fruits: Add orange slices, lemon slices, and fresh berries for garnish and extra flavor.
  • Step 3: Add the Fizz: Just before serving, pour in the lemon-lime soda or ginger ale. Stir gently to keep the fizz.
  • Step 4: Add Alcohol (Optional): If making an adult version, stir in vodka, rum, or red wine at this stage.
  • Step 5: The Dry Ice Effect: Using tongs or gloves, carefully add a few small chunks of food-grade dry ice into the punch bowl. The punch will bubble and smoke, creating a spooky fog effect. Do not drink or swallow dry ice directly—wait for it to dissolve before ladling into cups.
